About the project:

The aim of the project is to maintain, extend and develop the Venture and the range of services and activities that it provides for local children, young people and their families. There are two elements to this project. The first is to maintain the activities and services that the Venture provides. Currently the Venture provides free, open access, supervised play sessions after school, at weekends and during all school holidays. The second is to extend these services and develop the role of the Venture as a community hub. This means staffing the site so that services and facilities can be accessed during the school day. Currently the Venture is only supervised after school and during school holidays. We plan to supervise the playground during the day allowing access to our Playhut building, additional play resources, toilets and kitchen.
