The aim of the Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC) is to reduce crime and make Gloucestershire a safer and better place to live
His strategy for achieving this is called The Police and Crime Plan. It is up to the police to put his plans into practice on a daily basis and the PCC’s job to hold them to account if they don’t
There are six priorities in the Police and Crime Plan:–
Accessibility and accountability
Older but not overlooked
Young people becoming adults
Safe days and nights
Safe and social driving
Safer cyber
What makes the plan for Gloucestershire different to anywhere else is that it doesn’t just rely on the police. It involves lots of other public bodies, volunteers and local communities because we all have a part to play in making Gloucestershire the best it can be ….. as you will see in this short film.
