Each month, PCC Martin Surl and Gloucestershire Constabulary Chief Constable Rod Hansen meet in order for the PCC to hold the chief to account over the delivery of the Police and Crime Plan.
Throughout the year, we livestream this meeting as a ‘webcast’, which enables to public to see this function being carried out. We do this to increase the accountability of not only the police, but also the PCC, with the public as the PCC role is democratically elected and is accountable to the public they serve.
