About the project:
Slimbridge Parish Council (SPC) have a Quiet Lanes working group with the aims to reduce traffic speed and promote safer road use in the parish. The proposed activity is to purchase an ANPR camera to assist in lowering the speed limit and prevent crime within the parish. The ANPR camera would be located on the main road, working with the local police, and this will encourage traffic to adhere to the speed limit and also aim to reduce / prevent crime within the locality.
